Sekac placed on waivers. Indication of another deal? Lots of rumors about the Hawks pursuing Dan Hamhuis.
"Hopefully it turns out really well and I play well and it makes them think about re-signing me," he said after he was reacquired by Chicago on Thursday night. "But we'll cross that bridge [later]." Ladd will play with Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa, who is currently injured. He can become an unrestricted free agent in the summer.
Ehrhoff reached the 50-point mark in 2010-11, but he's been on the decline since then. He had just 10 points in 40 contests with the Kings and Los Angeles put him on waivers on Feb. 11. After every team passed on his $1.5 million cap hit for the 2015-16 campaign, he was sent to the minors. This trade gives him a new opportunity, but it speaks volumes that his stock has fallen so low that Los Angeles could only trade him in exchange for another bad contract.
I'm sure Q will play with his new toys until he finds lines that he likes.
I was just wondering if anyone thought there was more of a shaw or Teuvo to center push behind this. I am sure Rasmussen will be out or at wing when Krueger comes back, but it seemed like Montreal really wanted Danault, so that was what it took to get these two rentals. Seems like another high price, but maybe I can see some opponents run into the second row.
With Q, you never know what he has up his sleeve.I was just wondering if anyone thought there was more of a shaw or Teuvo to center push behind this.

But I like Shaw on the same line with Toews. Maybe Shaw isn't the "finesse" player you typically see on the top line, but camping in the blue paint, he gives defenses fits since they can't ignore Shaw, but they also can't allow Toews to skate around unguarded.
LA Kings just got Versteeg, boy theres a style that guy definitely does not fit with. Prospect and a fifth rounder..
Still kinda think they plan to use Bickell in the playoffs if they still have him, that was where he did his work. They released Carruth from his AHL contract and signed him to a two way deal. I thought Leighton would be the guy called up in case of injury.
I am not sure if we will see Erhoff or not, seems to have fell out of favor in LA, where Q's rope is even shorter.
Did Leighton get released?
