It's gotten to the point now that I've lost track who is being looked at for what job so forgive me if any of this is repeated, but I'm only going to post things that are just released so hopefully none of this is repeated.

Jason La Canfora:

Can confirm @MikeGarafolo report Tampa OC Mike Sullivan will interview in CHI and @JayGlazer report ATL DC Mike Nolan will interview in PHI

Also, Mike McCoy's interview in Arizona will take place on Saturday

I've heard of colleges doing it when it comes to finding a new coach. Not sure how prevalent it is in the pros, though?

NFL Network just showed a segment about the unprecedented number of GMs fired this season, and how the current culture of the NFL fan expects heads to roll due to bad play by any given team.

Apparently (they say) there has never been a time in NFL history where there have been this many GM firing. Given that, I only expect thew league to become increasingly more unstable/in flux.

Maybe Kelly should just stay at Oregon for another 2 years and then go to which every team has the rights to draft Johnny Football. The Browns and the Bears are lightyears away from running his offense.

You really think Manzel is going to be THAT good?

I don't get the fascination with this guy. Maybe it's for the Rooney rule, but if he gets hired as a HC I think he'll be fired within 3 years.

Hearing San Diego has asked for permission to interview Steve Keim, #GM

He's Arizona's VP of Player Personnel and has become one of the hotter, more popular front office names in the NFL.

I'm glad he didn't but if he had waited one more year, Harbaugh could have waited to join his former team and draft Luck. Unless Pagano was a shoe-in, I suppose.

Roman is a very good fit in Philadelphia, in my opinion, but I really don't want to lose him.

So maybe we could trade Smith to go with him because it'd be out of the division (not that Alex is that scary). What is scary is the media in Philadelphia for Smith, though. Yes, the only real interest I have in the coaches being fired and moving, is Roman, Fangio, and Smith. No, it's not just Smith.

IF he was hired by Philly and IF he was interested in Smith joining him again, I could see the Eagles (or anybody) organization wait for the 49ers to cut him instead. Obviously the only way you can guarantee yourself that you'll have him is if you trade for him, but I could see them wait it out and try to convince him to join. With all that said, that's assuming alot of things, which is something I hate doing.

Any chance that Harbaugh chose the WCO because of his QBs - Luck and Smith - I don't know the reason for Luck, but Smith was a shorter passer but smart for YAC opportunities, getting small bits, efficient. Maybe with Kaep, Harbaugh would be willing to go to vertical philosophies? Just wondering, as I don't know that much about the different offenses when it comes to meshing with other styles.

Jim was very close to Bill Walsh and IIRC he learned straight from the man himself, before either of those guys could throw a ball.

There are some conflicting reports coming out, which isn't surprising really. His name has definitely been mentioned as a candidate. I guess that's not the same as getting an interview request. But yeah.

Matt Barrows:

This could change at any moment, but for now #49ers OC Greg Roman has not been asked to interview for any head coach openings.
