he gets drafted in st.louis in the 3rd round and is a legit prospect of theirs. behind halak and elliot he gets dealt to ottawa 2 years ago for a 2nd round pick. plays ok up there

gets dealt last year to tampa for a 4th and conacher.


guy is on fire! 14-3 i think this year with 2 shut outs.



now im not a goalie coach but a guy that is 6'7 should at least be on some goalie coaches and scouts radar no? we couldn't even inquire 2 years ago about this kid for a 2nd rounder? kinda makes getting schinder for #9 a reach no?

best of all hes american hopefully he gets added to the olympic roster

I always figured bishop will be force... 6'7 is 6'7...that's huge in front of the net

I said it during last years deadline that TB getting Bishop for Conacher was the steal of the day.

Only problem I thought was Tampa's inability to play defense but Yzerman seems to have found a solution.

Blues and Sens will both regret giving up on this kid too early.

i saw him play 2 yrs in the minors for the Texas Tornado both times his team won the Robertson Trophy as champions

I agree Irish. You have to be pretty bad at 6'7 to not make it in the NHL

He was ok in college, a little inconsistent.

Conacher and a 4th was a lot to give to get him though. Conacher was leading the rookie scoring race when they traded him I believe. Schneider is an established #1 though, hence why he cost more.

never mind it was Maine...while there he had a groin injury
