Oh.
And one more thing Here is another example why I cant stand prevent defenses!
Agreed but no excuse on Slay giving up the TD. Forget looking at Cousins, stay with your man.

I'm still completely baffled by the Saints.. and what they are doing... That team is the definition of a Twilight Zone at the moment.
The gist I'm getting is that their OC is doing Kubiak stuff and with Kamara they can kinda do a lot with that style

3 things for me that were big question marks coming into season:
1. Hurts
2. Pass rush
3. Sirianni

Getting rotten answers on all 3.

Even before Saquon Barkley dropped the game the DL was straight garbage. They can’t rush the passer. Their run fits suck. Neither Bryce Huff nor Nolan Smith can set an edge. Neither of the DTs from Georgia look like they were worth the draft capital.

Hurts is not good enough. He hasn’t gotten better in 2 straight off seasons. He still bails on pockets that are secured. He doesn’t stand in the pocket and work through progressions. The Eagles have to look internally how they have two QBs in a row who have an MVP level season and then those QBs regress. It may just be coincidence. Different coaching staffs.

This team gets boat raced in New Orleans next week. They can’t rush the passer in the NFL. That’s not good haha. They have the run game and a playmaking skill set in Hurts to manage games and play keep away. The defense is just yuck. I don’t understand how the Falcons only score 22 tonight?

yes. but if they played Defense they probably dont get that close for Slay to screw up that play.
I knew they lost the game when Penn State dropped the fucking ball. You can take the loser out of Penn State but you can’t take the loser out of a former Nittany Lion.

Best win for the Falcons in ages. Awesome game winning drive and Cousins looked like a different QB this week as compared to last week. Falcons moved the ball well and played a good offensive game and Cousins really made some nice throws in the second half.
Eagles fell apart at the end, I’ve already said I think throwing it on 3rd down was stupid and then their D got absolutely no pressure on Cousins on that last drive and he had all the time in the world to throw it. The Eagles pass rush has struggled so far this season, and it was very evident on the game winning drive.

That was fucking awesome!!

Well, time to go to sleep angry. Thanks Nick, you showed why you should not be a head coach again.

If you're going to give Barkley the ball, just hand it off and run the clock down.
That’s wide open. It’s a great call. Catch the ball. You make $14 million a year. Go make the play. That simple.

Eagles won a Super Bowl being aggressive. Eagles went to the Super Bowl in 2022 being aggressive. Go make the play.

I’m more bothered he goes for it on 4th and 4 early in the game and doesn’t take his points.

Yeah, were gonna give up 30+ to them. Gonna have to score with them(which I think we can).
With a healthy AJ Brown yes but I'm not so sure without him. Hurts/Smith/Barkley can't be the only guys making plays, other guys need to step up.

Prevent is awful but after the Vikings got into Eagles territory they needed to tighten things up but didn't.

Yeah, that's true in regards to AJ. Hope we can play ball control and possess the game and wear them down. Maybe they'll be on an emotional high and not play as well.

Sometimes the better play is the safer play. If Barkely doesn't get the first, still kick the FG Vikes get the ball back with a minute. JMO
Believe me I do get your point and honestly we shouldn't be even talking about this if yes Siriani should have definitely taken the early points and changed the direction of the game.

Agreed, gotta hope Saints have one of those let down games after their big win in Dallas
