I was fairly interested until I found out that its NOT live. It's being taped today and shown tomorrow. So you know what that means; they're gonna string together the only good clips and you won't see the actual games. That's bullshit. I don't care if its sloppy, I expect it. If they could still play, they'd be in the NBA. But its dudes in their 40s. I expect some sloppiness.

Also, White Chocolate apparently hurt himself minutes into the first game.

Interesting...are they literally just showing highlights, or are they just compacting the games into shorter times so they will be cutting out some of the game. Do you know?

Don't know. But my gut is they'll cut out parts of the game for time and the parts they cut will be all the ones that make the players look bad (ie Iverson crossing up someone and missing the shot by 6 feet). It could still be fun, but for me personally, I want to see it all live, warts and all

I think it's interesting how there is no "hometowns" for any team, so it's basically a traveling road show. But the cool thing is that you can see all the teams play if you went to a game day.

Well, that's disappointing. I want to see the whole game too. Heck, the sloppiness would be part of the fun, imo. I can't even find the replays listed on any channel.

The best team/players in this thing will not necessarily be the big names. It will be the guys who have stayed in shape. Many have not.

some guys continue to work out, play, etc. then some guys just stopped playing.

i see a lot of hammy, ankle, etc issues happening. what happens if a team loses 2 guys? is there a FA pool?

The games are clearly not some BS All-star game or Oldtimers game exhibition nonsense.

It is guys who want to compete and win. Some, might even use this as another shot in the NBA.

Sold out crowds and hollywood/music stars in the building is a good start.

Maybe Timmy D, Manu, or even Big Dave might get the itch when it comes to Texas?
