If our SP were able to more consistently pitch into the 7th or 8th inning every night I think our bullpen would be better than 27th out of 30 when it comes to ERA. We have good pieces in the pen. Just too many innings (and too many walks)

I can't remember if it was 2010 or 2011 but bringing Mike Adams in to be that 8th inning guy really helped solidify that bullpen. Just saying sometimes going by "roles" can really work.

You mean when everyone rightfully bitches about Washs misuse of the bullpen due his idea of defined roles?

They're starting to do so. Just hoping the bullpen hits their stride within the next couple weeks.
