Good job Sam.
I think they are trying to give him consistent playing time and not mess him around in hopes he can regain some of his form. And his defense has been great. So I am with you on taking some time on this.Gomez' upside is so much higher than Rua's and Delino's so I am willing to give him a couple of weeks. If he hasn't figured it out in the next week or so then bye bye.

Has to be a gut punch to Seattle. Losing to Rangers and even lowly Astros sniff out a win too
Colby making last rehab start tonite. if everything goes good he will be activated and start on the 4th in Houston moving Yu and Cole back a day and opening in Seattle. Bannister talking going with a 6-man rotation but personally i would drop Perez to the pen
I'd be for him getting one more start.
And rather than us going to a 6 man rotation, maybe use Perez and Colby as one pitcher for Colby's first 2 starts. You know Lewis will be on a fairly low pitch count for at least one outing, so just plan on Perez being the long man, kind of like Colby's #2.
All of this is somewhat dependent on how Holland and Griffin continue to throw.
This bullpen is a major fucking problem come October.
why Barnette wasn't brought in over Diekman.

my bad Colby pitching tonite
I am expecting to see some DL stints come September, if we can get the lead to 10+ games. I'm hoping we can get a big lead and then put some BP arms on DL to rest while calling up some minor league arms to fill in.
I was thinking that last night about getting a double digit lead and then giving multiple guys a week or more off at a time. Don't know if they'll DL them or just rest em and make some Sept call ups
