They're gonna be 15-8 here real quick IMO.

This may only be a 3 bid league. Marquette and Nova are just that much better than the rest of them.

I’ve been maintaining that it will be 4 bids. But yeah that SJU loss is killer. I think with Halls non con they only need to be 9-9.

Butler, Providence and Creighton can enter the convo but need wins ASAP. Creighton dropping both home games to the top 2 already is killer.

If Marquette and Nova both finish 14-4. That means only 5 more major wins out there for the taking for these teams(2 of the losses obviously have to be to each other).

I don't think the rest of the league has enough in them to make Marquette and Nova both finish with 4 losses though. Marquette is predicted to go 27-4. Nova predicted to go 25-6. Which means Nova is expected to lose to Marquette and then another Big East team. I do think SHU has the best chance based on their potential resume, but they aren't predicted to get to 9 wins in conference. What will they need to do if they enter the Big East tournament at 17-13, 8-10 in conference? My guess is they'd probably have to win it.

I do agree it will be tough for the two teams to snag 5 more combined losses outside of the games to each other. Especially Nova since they already won at Butler, Creighton and Providence.

I do think we lose at Butler and at Providence as well as the nova game. So I think we will be 14-4 at best. But maybe these teams will all not find it in them to win.

Am I crazy to think that DePaul may actually have the best chance at finishing 3rd? They've already played at MU and Nova, and finish with 6 games at home and 4 on the road, and already swept SHU. Problem with them is they may actually play better on the road then at home. lol.

Tough to say if Nova and Marquette are for real or the rest of this league is just a bad joke.

DePaul is actually a really decent team. If they knew how to close games they’d have like 3 more wins right now. Unfortunate for them is the fact they lose 2 of their 4 legit players this year

Nova just pounding SHU. It’s still their league. I came in to the season thinking Marquette was 1 year away from having the truly better roster. So won’t kill me if they win.

Both are good. League is still competitive just too young to win enough late. We both may not be elite teams. But Marquette played well most of the non besides the Indiana abomination. Even the Kansas crazy dry spell was more of a crazy fluke and they had Azubuike at that time.

I love a few of these BE teams rosters but they are just too young this year(Gtown, Prov, Creighton). Unfortunately for these teams is Nova is Nova and Marquette assuming Howard doesn’t do anything drastic will be considerably better next year as well.

Turnovers will be this teams downfall in March. They make no fucking sense with how careless they are.

Hinkle horrors starting early in this one. Lucky Butler is only scoring on TO layups so it’s only 6-2 10 possessions in

Great first half defensively. Markus got hot on O.

Another fucking meltdown in progress. If we blow this 17 pt lead that’s 3 15 point leads blown in 6 years at Hinkle

We’ve entered the tougher portion of the schedule opponent wise including our two toughest home games up next.

That said, it’s the easiest wear and tear wise.

Only play 6 games in February. Team won’t get on a plane again until February 23rd vs Providence.

Lots of days off. 3 home games and a road game by bus to DePaul.

There's no bad losses left. But there's not many great wins either.

Seton Hall is I think the best other team, but their home court is not spectacular. X is garbage this year. @ Butler, @ Creighton were the tough ones both teams are done with. Johnnies can get hot and beat anybody.

I would say O/U of 3 losses for both Nova and Marquette, regular season only.

Agreed. I think you guys have it a little easier remaining but it’s pretty close.

Our toughest games left besides the Nova ones are gonna be at Prov and at SHU.

We could slip up or get swept by Nova. But 14-4 is very realistic. Johnnies at home will be tough match up wise. Losing at home to Butler, Creighton or Gtown would just be disappointing.

Congrats to Gtown on sole possession of 3rd place and being the third team to reach .500 in league play.

Unfortunately you play at Nova in two days.

St John’s is a god awful match up for us and we are ice cold.

If we don’t start making shots it’s gonna be another blood bath.
