watching the Nova at Creighton game. as usual Nova went on one of their patented 10+-0 2nd half runs
which has sunk Creighton.

This is still clearly Nova’s conference to lose

I just hope Ed Morrow isn’t out a long time(hearing it may not be good)

Ideally Marquette and Nova can run through the league with 4 or less losses and both probably get a 3 or 4 seed.

If the Big east beats each other up and DePaul keeps racking up wins, we're looking at 5 teams seeded between 7 and 11.

That's dog shit...

Agreed. That’s the biggest issue with this years league.

As a whole it’s down, but it’s the strongest it’s ever been at the bottom.

It was best for the league if DePaul, Gtown and even X just all got steamrolled. Unfortunately it looks like the 3 of them will keep picking up wins.

Right now the best case is Nova and Marquette win as much as possible to get protected type seeds. SJU and SHU play well enough to not sweat the bubble. Then hopefully a 5th team emerges as a very high seed bubble team.

4-10 is wide open IMO. Hell maybe even 3-10 if St John's doesn't pick it up. Seton Hall can afford a couple extra losses because of what they did OOC. But if St John's can only manage a .500 record or slightly better they are going to be sweating it out. A 5th team doesn't appear at this point to be likely, but if someone is going to do it, I'd probably pick Butler just based on their OOC resume. But they've already lost at home to Georgetown, so I don't think it's that realistic.

Get to an easy stretch of the schedule and we already lose Morrow. Now Howard hurt minutes in.

Joke

Good game between G-Town and Marquette. Big East may not be top heavy, but I don't recall the bottom being this good either. Quality from top to bottom.

Yup.

League has a shit ton of top 60ish teams.

Just very little at the top.

Gtown has legit talent just young. And DePaul might actually be better than a handful of teams. They just can’t close games.

If I had to guess, I'd say Xavier and Providence are probably the worst two teams in the league IMO. Which is saying something since I had both in my preseason bracket. I think DePaul finally doesn't finish last. Big East Tournament should be a lot of fun. Hopefully everyone is healthy when it rolls around.

I wasn’t high on Providence preseason but we will have to see how they play when Reeves gets back. I think they can still be decent.

Definitely should be a fun conference tourney.

I’m just glad that Wojo is showing he’s more than a recruiter this year. His coaching lately has been flawless. Hopefully helps us in March.

Worst half imaginable right there

No one wanted to show up for Wade day?

Prov is a tough match up for us and if refs are gonna let them play football out there we are fucked

Don’t deserve to win so far anyways tho.

Woke the fuck up at half.

Joey being out there and not in foul trouble was huge.

Sam was Sam. So clutch.

We didn’t deserve to win at that point. Wanted to make it known so it didn’t sound like I was blaming the refs(who completely changed their calls come half 2). We were bad. But wojo made big adjustments again. What a year for him.

Completely agree that we didn't but a bit too early to decide. And as far as the refs go the first half was old big east the second was new. I won't complain about either.

We have to cut down on the fucking turnovers. Especially Markus. Man are they stupid TOs.

Theo is just a bad fucking man tho.

I’ll take the 10 point win.
