Big 12 is looking good so far!

It's hard to argue against the SEC as being the best in the BCS era. All the titles by multiple teams, winning bowl percentage, the list can go on and on...

It's late though and I'm bored so I'd like to see the argument made that the B12 was the best of the BCS era (error?), from top to bottom.

Those kind of comments could come back to haunt a person when you play your rival this week who happens to be a perennial bottom feeder in the Big 12 and you consider yourself a top B1G program...

I never said Iowa was a top B1G program. I said the season shapes up well for them due to their schedule. I think MSU, PSU, tOSU, and possibly even Michigan are better than Iowa at this point, and Iowa doesn't play any of those teams during the season. I think come November, Iowa can be better than Nebraska and Wisconsin. The schedule gives Iowa a good shot at making the B1G Championship.

I hate conference homerism.

Collectively the Big 12 has done absolutely nothing noteworthy.
Some truly embarrassing losses and not a single even average win so far......

It is not just the big 12.
All the power leagues seem a bit off this season.
The strength seems more spread around than ever....no league seems concentrated.

Hopefully that is a sign that homerism will fade soon.

I was kind of venting from the media talking about how Pac 12, SEC, and Big 12 looked so much better than the B1G. After last week, P12 and SEC showed to be the best 2 conferences (same with after this week as well).

I still think after last week, Big 12 didn't have much ground over B1G by on-the-field results. I feel the Big 12 did prove themselves this week.
