True. Still don't want him calling plays.

Get a guy like Tressman to run the passing game.

Bevel's brutal playcall in the SB...the stink will never wear off that one.

WTF dude. Be consistent from one minute to the next. It wasn't a bad call (according to you ad nauseum) it was Butler cheating.

Pick one. Stick with it. Thanks.

It was still a bad call.

It was also a bad call on the officials to miss such a clear DPI.

Nope, if it wasn't for your alleged 'cheating' then it was an easy TD. 2nd consecutive Lombardi. Pick one. Stay with it. Thanks.

Multiple people can screw up on the same play.

See Wilson with his shitty throw on the play.

But it's a risky call that wasn't playing to his strenghts.

You had a stud back against the worst short yardage defense in the league and one yard to go.

No one did anything right on that play. One guy just got away with what he did wrong to get credit for it.

In other words there is no logic in the universe, just your feelings.

No. You're laughably wrong here. the pats short yardage D was terrible all year.

We've already seen slants over the middle of the red zone in the SB (Warner to Harrison and Kevin Dyson ring a bell?) not end well on multiple occasions.

Your best player is Lynch. He is your sternght.

Lockette was probably the worst player on the field on that play.

The 6'4 giant wasn't even used when he was the guy NE had trouble with.

you still had a time out.

Butler 100% got there too early and hit Lockette preventing him from catching the ball and it should've been a flag.

Idk why you need to try to make shit up and go personal.

If it was cheating then it would have been a TD if not for the cheating. Thus it wasn't a bad call. You can't have it both ways.

Pick one.

There's nothing personal in me pointing out that you go off feelings instead of logic.

If it WAS a bad call, then the blame is on Bevell and or Wilson and or Carroll.

We've been over the Lynch deal ad nauseum. He'd been terrible at short yardage in SHORT YARDAGE SITUATIONS for a year and a half by that point. You'd know that if you actually, you know, watched Seahawks games.

NE was in jumbo prevent and were lined up to stuff Lynch. Belichek wasn't going to let Lynch beat him.

In HINDSIGHT, they should have bootlegged Wilson out, he'd have crawled into the endzone. Hindsight.

Then LOGICALLY, it wasn't a bad call.

How so?

Just because someone else screws up doesn't make your screw up ok.

WTF kind of "logic" is that?

Also, sometimes you screw up and yet you still get rewarded.

Like when a pitcher misses his spot and throws one right down the middle when it's supposed to be on the outside corner and the guy pops is straight up. Doesn't mean the ball should've been there.

Ok, let's take this slowly.

Butler doesn't 'cheat,' what's the result of the play?

I agree with this except not in hindsight.

That was the only pass call Seattle should run.

And our favorite Seahawk/boise st fan from the KFFL days can back that up since I was texting him live.

taking away the threat of lynch to even have a chance to run the ball is what made it an extremely bad call. There HAD to at least be a PA on any pass play from there.

You're really struggling now. Me being 'wrong' makes it 'personal?'

considering where the throw is Lockette might get tackled short of the EZ.

First being a Seahawk fan doesn't mean you can't be delusional about that play. There's a thread right now on the Hawks board with guys still pissing and moaning about Bevell. Funny enough, they're ALSO guys who tend to post based on their feelings being hurt.

Second, the threat of Lynch running WAS there, THUS THE PATS COMING OUT IN JUMBO TO STOP LYNCH!!!!!

2 guys guessed right, Browner and Bulter. Everyone else on the Pats thought it was a Lynch run.

Your'e not allowed to make up your own reality.

???

Good fucking grief.

Hey you know what else might happen? An angel might fly out of the vagina of the lead Hawks cheerleader, fly down to the 2 yard line and lift Russel Wilson over the entire NE team and deposit him gently in the endzone.

That MIGHT happen too.

No there wasn't. They went out of the shotgun with him lined up next to RW. In no position to get a handoff in any kind goal line rushing play.

That's not the threat of a run. You KNOW they're not running a goal line rush from that set up. It's too slow developing.

Look at where the hit is. If he gets blindsided and knocked backwards legally (similar to what happened except with correct timing) he's not getting in.

That's a really odd thing for you to try and fight here.

I'm done. You're making shit up now. They came out lined up to stop Lynch. There's plenty of stuff written about it. There's audio of the play from a bunch of the Pats players. 'Slow developing?' It was a fucking slant.

Unbelievable.

Anyway, I'm now out. There's no point. You'd argue 2 + 2 = 5 if it fit your argument.
