And no, he's not a shitty wr. He's a pedestrian wr with great athletic ability, who made some big plays AGAIN, all season long. There was an even MORE pedestrian WR on the roster just to field punts, who not surprisingly wasn't on the field at all. Which you'd know, if you actually watched Seahawks games, and didn't just offer up your wisdom from on high.

Didn't he just run for 5.5 yards against that same scary defense you're saying they should've thrown against?

Yep, running on a passing down, he was money for a year and a half. Rushing on obviously rushing downs especially in short yardage? Not so much. As MKhawk has pointed out already, he got stuffed EARLIER IN THE FUCKING GAME on short yardage.

Which you'd know if you, you know, actually watched Seahawks games, and didn't pontificate from on high.

And New England was terrible in that situation all year. Hence the 5.5 yards against the GL personnel.

So they were due to again let a runner in.

So how'd they stuff him in short yardage earlier in the same fucking game?

And you put your season in his hands versus all the other players who were all better options to throw to.
Complete hyperbole. It was 2nd down & goal; Lynch had just run the ball on 1st & goal, and there was 30 seconds & 1 TO left. They didn't go into the huddle with the situation that it was the final play of the game. Instead, by deciding to throw, they pretty much assured themselves of a path to be able to use all 4 downs (short of a turnover, which could have happened on a run as well). The ball was thrown by our franchise QB, who at the very worst was the team's 2nd best offensive player (I would say #1 due to the position he plays). So, no, the "season" wasn't put "in the hands" of Lockette.
