Loved both new episodes. Super intense scenes with little to zero dialogue were great.

I can't wait to see what happens to Chuck, I hope it involves a taser.

I hate that guy.
He is very unlikable, yes. But Jimmie did something just as bad to deserve Chucks scheme.

They actually explained Chucks POV pretty well on Talking Saul last week. Sure, he doesn't give Jimmie any rope, but that is because he knows Jimmie is a sleaze ball and deserves no rope. If he is ever given rope, he will hang everyone in the room before he hangs himself.

Jimmie is kinda charming, but he is a disgusting shit-rat.

If you feel sympathy for Jimmy though then the writers have done their job.

Chuck is no better then Jimmy tho and it's the way Chuck is that makes Jimmy have to resort to such extremes

I was saying that last season, and everyone was all over him. Jimmy is charming, but he's still a charming asshole.

The thing with Chuck though, only part of it comes from a genuine 'doesn't want to let Jimmy hang himself or everyone else' place. He takes it a step farther from a jealous, not genuine place. It's been pretty clear about the resentment aspect. He hates that Jimmy was able to become a peer of his, he just wanted Jimmy to be greatful for the chance he gave him and to keep his head down and stay straight in the mail room. Jimmy is a slimeball, but they've given us enough to see that he wanted to genuanly not to be, but every time chuck goes beyond having jimmys best interests in mind and acts out of spite it pushes Jimmy back to his antics. irony an such...

That's why Jimmy is likeable and everyone hates chuck, even though Jimmy is a piece of shit, he always has had the best intentions with his brother, chuck started with good intentions, but got spiteful when Jimmy started doing positive things for himself.

As easy as it is to hate chuck though, his position is very real and relatable st the same time. I still think some of you are letting him off too easy though.

It is true that Chuck is jealous of Jimmy's charisma and natural talent. Chuck has always had to work hard for what came to Jimmy easily, and everyone Chuck wanted to be close to enjoyed Jimmy's company more.

It's more about jealous and the need to be superior, the moral high ground is Chuck's go-to these days for that.

Also remember that Chuck was blind to their fathers gullibleness. When the shop went belly-up, Chuck blamed Jimmy because he thought Jimmys minor skimming made the differance. He had no idea that everyone was taking advantage. Jimmys perceptiveness taught him that that is what you need to do to survive. Be the scammer or the scammee.

People naturally like Jimmy and Chuck resents that. Their mom on her deathbed was a giveaway, in fact maybe it was too much of a giveaway, but it sure let us know exactly where Chuck's resentment of Jimmy comes from. Chuck is the guy who did everything the right way but everyone, including mom, still likes slippin' Jimmy better. So what happens to Chuck now that he absolutely owns Jimmy's balls ? He can't be long for this world, imo.

Too bad for Chuck, Jimmy has more friends in low places. Chuck will kiss the hand of death, just a matter of when.

Second Wire homage I can think of in the BB universe, the first being when Gus snapped the burner cell phone in half after finishing talking to Walter in S4 (or maybe 3?)

Great episode. The court scenes between Jimmy and Chuck will be epic.

Chuck's gonna eat a bag of dicks. Figuratively, of course.

Jimmy sees it, and he finally said it: Chuck will die alone.

Despite all his professional success, Chuck's pompous nature alienates people... nobody really likes Chuck on a personal level. His partner Howard may like him professionally, but even Howard probably doesn't desire any non-professional interaction with Chuck.

Kinda reminds me of the film Jerry Maguire. Jerry was top-notch in his professional life, but was pretty much a failure in his personal life, whereas his wide receiver client Rod Tidwell was awesome in his personal life, but was a slacker on the football field. Of course both those things changed by the end of the film...and everybody lived happily ever after. It won't be such a warm & fuzzy outcome in Better Call Saul.
