Like the show... but I'm still confused on what Jimmy/Saul's relationship with Kim is.... Is that just friendship? Friends w/benefits, past flirtations... I can't figure it out.
Thoughts?

I think its purposely vague. I think they are casual lovers but I am not sure why I think that. I can't remember if they did something to make me think that, or if I just assumed it. Either way, his degree is from University of American Samoa so she could do better!

Pretty sure they showed them post-coital in one of the first few eps. Also, didnt he call her for a booty-call after the meeting with HHM, when she told him to take the deal?

I think on BB he mentioned multiple ex-wives, maybe she's the ex-wife that cheated on him with his friend? If not, maybe she's his future ex-wife.

Premiers and Finales are not the right times for filler/character development episodes.

With that kind of expectation, I think it fair to say this episode was the worst of the season. Still good enough to warrant viewing of S2 (and be excited for it!), but certainly not on par with the Mike flash-back episode or last week's episode (where we learn about Chuck's real feelings).

You are right. The acting was superb, and if you ignore the fact it was a finale, it was a solid B+ episode. Solid back story, solid development. Just no action or revelations.

Slow but good. I thought the acting/production were very good all season. It will be interesting to see if Odenkirk gets an emmy nomination for this role. I think he deserves one.

The last episode was Jimmy figuring out that his bro was really his enemy and undercutting him at every turn. Basically, Saul was born in the finale.

I'm not a huge TV guy. I like sports, cartoons and shows here and there that I have a personal interest in.



Breaking Bad was the first "series" I ever "binge-watched". My wife and I watched the whole thing in a couple weeks I think. We'd finish, like the 5th straight episode, and be like, "Oh fuck, it's 3AM on a Tuesday!? Step away from the remote!!" lol.

Bryan Cranston was incredible in it, IMO.
