He appeared in the first season only. I was being facetious about only being in 5 episodes, but only slightly. On the show he was primarily a background character.

Archie Bunker. Most of my favorites have already been mentioned, though I haven't seen George Jefferson. He was great and frankly the only thing that made that show worth watching.

Some time in season 2 Jason Alexander was questioning the script about some of the reactions and situations that was written in Seinfeld script, basically saying who would react this way or do these things. Larry told him, he did these things and said those things, so Jason changed the way he played George, as the early George was a far different character than later George.

And that's why I friggin' love Larry. Guy is a riot. Of COURSE he would behave that way! The scenes with him and Leon are gold! Those two have great chemistry.
