So, every few days I will post a new matchup we will have the top 16 backs of all time go head to head to decide who is #1 in the eyes of the Hoop.

The 16 contestants are in no particular order.

Okay, so Edge and Craig... Let's get a couple more before we make some changes. Funny some are quick to leave out TD but Gale Sayers can stay.

Martin had a better career then Craig. 10 straight 1000 yard seasons.

They both played 11 seasons and Craig only had about 80 more receptions than Martin.

Bettis and Franco Harris have pretty good cases to be on this list over Sayers and TD.

13 years, he averaged 4 yards a carry 4 times. I don't have a problem if people think I should add the Bus but that's why I didn't.
