CBSSports.com's Franchise Five dives into five most impactful people in each NFL's team history. Our rules here bind us to pick just one quarterback, three non-quarterback players and one head coach. Qualifier: Individual must not be a current player in the NFL.

I'm going to override the current player thing and make my own Franchise Five. I haven't looked at their's.

I mean, for just about every team, the coach and QB is gonna likely be pretty obvious. So really, what we're looking at here, are the three other slots...

I just noticed Deion listed for the Falcons...not sure I would put him there. Only one winning season why he was there. I would probably substitute Jamal Anderson.

The Browns looks pretty good. Would put Joe Thomas in there if we are talking talent (like Deion for ATL) but they never made the playoffs, which isn't his fault but this is most impactful. Gotta be those oldies for the Browns.

Haven't looked at the list either. Other notable teams:

Seahawks - They are tricky bc you obviously picked great HOF players but the Legion of Boom defines them now imo. Sherman and Earl Thomas belong.

Your list looks pretty damn good though tbh.

This would be my list for the worst Browns.

HC- Hue Jackson
QB- Johnny Manziel
RB- Trent Richardson
WR- Braylon 'couldn't catch a cold' Edwards
DE- Courtney Brown

I'd put Justin Gilbert in there over Braylon. Top 10 pick who never had a single impactful play for the team and was out of the league within 3 years. What makes him worst was the fact that the next 9 players taken after him in the 2014 draft are all Pro Bowlers. Incredible how talented that class was and with two picks in the first round, we shit entirely down our leg.

Good call. I forgot about him.

After a quick skim there were a couple things I'd change.

Dallas should have Larry Allen on their squad over Dorsett. Prime Time probably deserves to be there too.

I think Tennesse needs Jevon Kearse and Bruce Matthews on their squad. I'd take them both over Mason and CJ2K

Might actually take Patrick Willis over Charles Haley for SF. I know Willis had a short career, but damn was that man great.

Give me Howie Long over Belitnikoff on Oakland.

Rod Woodson definitely needs to be in the Steelers 5. Replace Franco.

Other than those everything looks solid to me.

Tony Dungy for TB coach... penis face Gruden just came in and sniped the team Dungy put together that was stacked... and then coasted it to a Super Bowl. After of which he did fuck all with the Bucs.

Any Cardinals list has to start with Bill Bidwill. I know Bidwill doesn't qualify as a coach or player but his decisions have defined the franchise. Any Cardinals former player list has to start with Kurt Warner.

Disagree on Sherm and E.T. The Seahawks franchise is much more than the L.O.B and Cortez, Walter and Steve are a thousand times more important to me than the L.O.B. , SB title be damned. Just my view though as a long time fan.

I know the Bears don't have much to brag about regarding QB for the past..........70 years (Jesus Christ), but Sid Luckman (1939-50) is an all-timer:

4x NFL Champion
5x All-Pro
1943 NFL MVP
3x NFL All-Star
3x Passing yards leader
3x Passing TD leader
1940s All-Decade Team

Not over Drew Brees. Through no fault of Archie's own he just couldn't produce with that team around him, but he is a legend.

Alongside Drew Brees, not instead of him. I would have them BOTH on the list. Archie played on the worst of the Saints teams and still made All-Pro - back when QBs were not coddled. That says something.
