That is interesting but with the new DC Wilks he will basically be used a safety regardless. They could switch Peppers to LB basically full-time and still use Collins at safety/LB-hybrid type of player like he has been used his whole career. Interesting take.

I just think at 6'1" 215 Peppers is a too small to be a full-time LB...
Oh yeah, Collins is similar to Peppers in that he lines up at LB a lot, but I think they could both co-exist. That said, they would have to sign a very, very good CB opposite Ward, because we'd get a lot of teams wanting to pass against those two.

Denver is strongly tied to Adrian Amos but if he decides to stay in Chicago I can see them going after Collins.

The box SS is a valuable player...especially one that can cover AND be a run force.

Idk see Collins enough to say for sure where his game is, or to answer the question is he worth a top dollar?

Off the top of my head I say no to top dollar, but will be highly paid so one of the teams with a lot of cap space is where I would start.

He can't cover well and that's me being kind.

He better be awfully good in the box then...a primary box safety that can't cover is really no better than keeping a LB on the field.

He's an outstanding box safety, but, is that enough these days? I'm really interested to see where he ends up and the contract. Great kid, stand up guy, natural leader so the intangibles are there.

I think the Lions would be a great fit. They already have Snacks, Kennard, and Okwra. The 2016 Giants defense was solid and I hope the Lions keep cherry picking these guys.

Denver might do almost anything. Your GM is lost.....

Ha nice try. The same guy who put together a SB winning team 3 years ago and a SB appearance 5 years ago is “lost”. Yes he’s struggled at finding a long term QB but there’s far worse GM’s out there. If you look at his entire tenure Elway is clearly top 10 in the league.

Is it time for the Broncos to move on from John Elway?

The Skins over paid. Good player, not good in coverage, coming off a bad year. Great kid though so he'll be a plus in the locker room

Welp get ready to see high safety contracts now. $14M a year, that's top in the league. I did think safeties were somewhat underpaid but 14M a year. Jesus

The Skins always overpay. That's why they're the essence of mediocrity in the NFL. I'd rather be a team that sucks royally & at least get a high draft pick.

...Oh, wait. :D
