Everyone has their favorites but of that list, of the ones I've seen, I picked 3 (Hoosiers, Hoop Dreams, White Men Can't Jump). I liked all of those a lot, all different types.

I Can’t call basketball Diaries a basketball movie.

The actors they had playing were so horrifically unathletic. Those movies used to make me mad.

Got to have a believable depiction of the sport to call it a good basketball movie.

Most of the others being discussed meet that standard.

I really liked He Got Game and Coach Carter.
