Our offensive line has looked putrid, especially our "stars". That is a concern. KC has not been in sync with his receivers. I do realize that he has yet to have any significant practice or play time with his entire ensemble, so that could be the issue.

I couldn't care less about the outcome of a meaningless game, but the fact that this team has not looked prepared or motived at the beginning of any game so far is a big red flag for me and I put that directly on the HC. Gruden seems like a great guy, a real players coach. But at the end of the day it is his responsibility to get this team prepared and motived to play. He has yet to done so, IMO.

I concur the OL is a problem and has been a problem all of this preseason. I am one of the few who never was sold on cousin remember that INT in the final game vs the Giants. Now to KC defense yes you have a valid point " KC has not been in sync with his receivers". That is an issue a big one. We have new pieces on Off. Throw in a very diffircult 2017 schedule and new pieces on D that hasn't jelled yet and you have some big concerns. Although the Off and Def came around a little later in yesterday game the whole out fit will need some time. It could take at lease 6-8 games for that to happen.

Kirk has looked pretty bad this preseason and every game last season he always started out slow was always the 2nd half he started to move the ball

I agree with your post. But do you really think the Skins game planned for the Bengals yesterday? KC should know by now not to throw late to the sideline b/c a pick 6 is highly probable. His decision making should be a lot better than what it is right now. Another thing that I didn't like from KC yesterday was that he was sitting in the pocket while the pocket was breaking down. The guy doesn't scramble to avoid pressure or step up to avoid pressure. These are the things that he should have down pat by now. He did not look like a veteran Qb at all yesterday. These are the things he should posses by now over guys like Dak and Wentz. I hope it gets better in the regular season.

Dean KC has always been a pocket passer, that's one of the disadvantages of a pocket QB. I with you on the rest of your comment. You know how I feel about KC but hey I am a die hard fan regardless so like you said "I hope it gets better in the regular season for our Skins sake.

But this will be the 3rd year that KC is in this offense. Should have better decision making by now. The new players shouldn't matter. The only new player is Pryor. Reed, Crowder, and the RB's are the same.

I know he is a pocket passer but he can move out of and step up in the pocket when things break down. He has good mobility. I haven't seen that yet. I guess you were with me and Vt who didn't want to give KC the blank check.

I was with you and VT. He's pocket passer remember the INT vs the Giants he should of ran then but he will not. I here what you are saying and agree and agree with most of it. But KC is our starting QB and this ship will leave the dock next week to start the season. What can we do. Just hope for the best that's all.

I agree. This is why I wanted the wait and see approach. Most of this board blasted me for that comment. Doesn't look too crazy now though.

Nobody wanted to give him a blank check. We wanted to offer him a fair contract.

Are you moving the goal posts again?

No. Even if offered the Carr deal he would of turned it down. I know im speculating but its my opinion. I hope he shows us this year that he is worth more than Carr and Luck. The organization was not 100% sold on him. Do you agree with that statement?

I am a kirk supporter, I believe his decision making this preseason is very similar to what we saw last year. I also believe the offseason talk about the contract situation has made people think he is better that he actually is. This is who kirk is, he will makes some throws that make you go, huh?? and then he will make some throws that will make you go Yess!!! And to answer your question Dean, if I may, yes I believe that the organization is not 100% sold on kirk. However, kirk is also not 100% sold on being a redskin.

It was 14-13 after the first half correct? That included a INT TD.

So why is the sky falling?

This ^^^^^. It sucks swollen blue whale nuts that this team seems immune to being able to start out a game looking sharp and crisp. But they did rebound fairly well after the first 3 series or so.

Well, to be fair to Kirk. It looked like a lotta pressure was coming directly up the middle and fast. A couple times pressure was in his face before he was done dropping back. Not too many QBs in the history of football deal well with that.

The pick 6 and his first pass of the game did have me going WTF Kirk! Both passes were thrown late. It wasn't all Kirk though far as the offense being disappointing. Both Trent and Schreff were just plain ol' schooled a couple times and Pryor dropped an on target pass that looked like it could've been a huge play.

Chris Thompson and Fat Rob both looked good. They gotta find a way to get the ball to Thompson in space. Maybe even line him out wide more than they have in the past. He's caught some flack, some of it unfairly imo, and it won't be the be all end all, but Rob and the OL looked really good on the TD drive.

The defense is.......I dunno. They certainly look better, but getting off the field on 3rd dn still looks like an issue. And preseason or not, 15 play drives that eat up 9 minutes while easily converting 2 3rd downs of 11 yards or more and end with a TD. Frustrate the shit outta me.

Let's be honest, Kirk has never been consistently effective under pressure. Now and again he will run or make a good throw, but if you force him to improvise, your chances of success against him go way up. This is one of the reasons why I'm convinced that the other guy is a better fit in this offense.

RG3? are you serious? Kc can make big throws with pressure. He just needs to move more.

yes the line was bad but his decision making was not good at all IMO.

i am not going to go into doom and gloom mode over a pick 6 thrown during a preseason game . anyone watch matt ryans debacle vs the cards ?

you guys want perfection but every qb screws up . thank god the games dont count

and dean enough of your blank chack rewriting history BS . KC wasnt offered a fair contract period . he essentially got a one year extension . the offer is out there , it has been weighed , it has been measured , and it has been found wanting

VT was on the stafford train . he was awful vs the pats this week too

AJ got picked off by a fish who will be pumping gas in 2 weeks
so when you all want to make stupid ass judgements look at what your solutions did . that right they sucked

yes KC made some bad choices but he also had 3 drops (2 by pryor ) and trent and sherf failed him as well

yes concern for the offense is justified , and that is what happens when you have new guys playing bigger roles

there is no doom or gloom here. I an just pointing out rookie mistakes and decision making that should be corrected by now.

The entire team has looked sloppy and ill-prepared this preseason. Not just the QB. GO back and look at the games. The O-line has looked soft. The big WR acquisition has been playing Marvels Stone fist dropping balls. The Defense has been slow to gel. Add in that Reed has been hurt (again) and Doctson is doing his best impression of Malcolm Kelly ( A kid who wants to get paid for four years and retire with as little playing time as possible).
