If I were a Nets fan, my biggest concern would be how Simmons will behave as an off ball player. He's always been resistant to being a screener or off ball option. He wants the ball in his hand and to be the focal point of the distribution of the ball.

My opinion is that it won’t take long to find out. If Simmons doesn’t start out being highly focused and intent on turning things around then it could go south in a hurry. I think being with KD is as good of a situation as he was ever going to get if he really wants to do some good things though. He has the talent, it’s up to him.
