For an All Star that is also All Defense 1st team? 16/8/8 and the best perimeter defender in the league? The guy that led the league in assists on 3 pointers last season? He’s not going to fall apart. The question is if he can take his potential and become a top 5-10 player. He’s already a top 25-30 player and even guys who hate him would begrudgingly put him in there because of all he can do.

Ben plus Tobias = 63 million in salary going out. That's enough to be a sizable dump that would allow them to pursue a top-level FA if they can bring back a ton of expiring contracts.

They must be hedging on their previous demands and moving to dump Harris' contract instead. Not sure there are a lot of takers for 2 more years of Harris in the high 30s per year?
