Also of note, shams article on the athletic says the sixers haven’t fined Simmons in a while because he’s doing all the therapy and sharing notes with team

Missing on both dinwidide and Bertans are normally franchise ruining misses.

You’re still in the playoff hunt.

Frankly I’d Ben for wash over beal due to age anyway. I think playing dinwiddie with a real pg would only help his game as well

Eh.

Who isn’t in the playoff hunt in the East?

I get what you are saying, but they kind of are franchise ruining misses.

Those are the difference between being a playin game loser and possibly winning a 1st round series.

Meh. Neither of those are relevant in the nba sense lol

Honestly both are in that joe Harris type supporting role player. But dinwidide is being paid likes the third star of a super team.

The long term issue is also playing gafford and Simmons on offense as you need super spacing at all times

And because he has legit issues.
But we all know that one day, all of the sudden he will be miraculously healed! God is good.

Been over this.

He would not be sitting out if not for all the drama from the past summer.

Remove him from the stressful environment and he is probably ready to go.

That could be 100% true without him fabricating anything.

Not really, if so we would see a lot taking his side. We aren’t.

My eyes right now are on the Celtics Kings Wizards and Blazers. All 4 are falling apart and need a major overhaul. Ben Simmons is the perfect asset to take on. The team can allow the asset to improve and grow and then they have a top player or if it’s a bad fit they can turn him around for other assets. These 4 teams are going nowhere. However, that’s often a hard pill for franchises to swallow.

Will we see more players hold out, citing mental health issues?

IE.: QB Kenny Pickett is drafted by the Browns.

Pickett: "I don't think my mind will be right until I am traded to a franchise that doesn't suck, it is killing my confidence and self esteem to wear this uniform. I'll feel mentally ready to play the minute I am traded to the Steelers."

The rumors that Collins is unhappy in Atlanta are interesting. Maybe he hits the trade market.

BS.

There is a still a stigma around these issues. Especially is sports when athletes are supposed to be alpha males, the biggest and strongest.

Players not taking his side because it is none of their business and they don’t really know what is going on.

Pretty much everyone knows what’s going on, if not the talking heads would be on daily talking about how players are saying he is getting shafted.

Kind of telling that you don’t see a lot of Free Ben Simmons shit from players on social media.

Turn him around? If a team takes a chance on him and it doesn't work just how much can they expect to get back for the guy as he gets passed around the league?

For an All Star that is also All Defense 1st team? 16/8/8 and the best perimeter defender in the league? The guy that led the league in assists on 3 pointers last season? He’s not going to fall apart. The question is if he can take his potential and become a top 5-10 player. He’s already a top 25-30 player and even guys who hate him would begrudgingly put him in there because of all he can do.
