A competent run game means everything isn't on Ben's shoulders to pass into tight windows at players who are too likely to drop the ball.

Fix that, and lower Ben's cap hits, and I am ok trying to ride him a few more years.

Ben can absolutely still throw the ball.

And Tom Brady made it to the title game throwing 3 int's this weekend himself.
And you have the greatest avatar in the history of avatars. FYI.

I have strong opinions about this matchup.

I'm absolutely rooting for Bell over AB.

Fuck AB. I don't have hard feelings against Bell.

And fuck Brady.

Yep. If any Steelers fan is actively rooting for the Bucs in this game then they can fuck themselves with a splintered baseball bat covered in barbed-wire.

I'm with ya. Sucks too because I actually really like Arians. But... he signed Brady and AB so he deserves no goodwill at this point.

Decent coach but this season feels like he's been riding Brady's coattails bigtime. The man even admitted it before the NFCCG saying he rarely coaches the offensive personnel and lets Brady do it.

Big Ben willing to restructure his deal to help the team out.

I think that would be at least the 10th time he has done that and the reason a 41 million dollar cap hit is coming. He probably is to the point he know he won’t ever see most of that money.

Meh, he's worth 100 million.

Arians answers
As is often the case, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians had a very candid quote. This time during an interview with Sam Farmer of the L.A. Times in the wake of his team’s Super Bowl victory.
And this time, the former Steelers offensive coordinator was talking about his days in Pittsburgh.
Farmer asked Arians about his level of loyalty to players.
“I’ve been accused that that is a fault,” Arians said. “Got fired in Pittsburgh because I was too loyal to Ben [Roethlisberger]. If that’s a problem, you’ve got the problem. I don’t have a problem. I get very close to my quarterbacks.”
Call it loyalty. Or nobility. But when do those traits become stubbornness?
Perhaps when “loyalty” got that quarterback sacked 40 times in a season as was the case for “Big Ben” in 2011 because Arians always allowed Roethlisberger to throw as often as he wanted. And allowed him to hold onto the ball as long as he wanted.
Call Randy Fichtner right now and you may get a similar quote, just with different circumstances.

Definitely a pattern here... Revolves around Ben.

Give him an OC he's happy with and the offense suffers. Give him a Todd Haley and he clashes too much & threatens to retire numerous times.
