He's near the top, if not leading the league in 3rd down conversions & RZ efficiency. He's proven 2 weeks in a row to be the most valuable piece on the team. Not sure where that narrative came from. But as history has shown us, the media needs nothing to convince them that its #BensFault. A narrative that will always accompany his name til the end of time.

Yeah and I'm not sure where that comes from either. Maybe just his boarish behavior when he was younger. He's not very well-liked outside of the fanbase. And even the fanbase has factions that never give him his due.

Well... He hasn't always shown himself in a good light so I get it. As a player I love him; ride or die! I think he's done plenty to get back in the good graces of the fans over his past off the field incidents, but he's still an enigma. Even if you ignore his past incidents.

Mainly because he fuels drama with his indiscretions during interviews (both directly & indirectly). It's like he just can't help himself sometimes. No matter the subject, he always has a way of saying things a certain way that feeds the media circus. Whether its throwing his teammates under the bus (even if it had merit), or fueling speculation around injuries or locker room friction.

His name will always be dragged through the mud, even long after he retires. His entire career has been surrounded by some sort of controversy, on a yearly basis. He's 1st ballot pedigree, but the cloud hanging over his head will be sure to cause lengthy discussions til the end of time.

Good pickup, but not a long term solution. He's very prone to sub-20's in FF. Every year in FF people buy into him and get bitten.

This Steelers team has been suffering from a lack of identity on offense & Ben has been putting the team on his back a lot. The OC sucks at his job, and Ben mostly ad-libs his way to victory. O-line just isn't consistent enough.

He shouldn't have any problem getting 300+yds & 3 TDs this weekend against the Jags though. I'd start him with confidence.

My QB is Lamar Jackson since Brees went out. I can't rely on him at all. So I was happy to see Big Ben on the waiver wire! I just need him to get me through this year as Brees probably isn't coming back until after Fantasy season ends

Perfect play to call out the narrative against Ben... Everyone called this "ill-advised" & "wreckless"... But if Mahomes or Wilson throws this exact pass then its called "gutsy".
