Seems with Ben out, this offense has nothing to really scare any defense, not that they don't have anyone to put fear in other defenses, no one on the offense is being used properly. If they are being used at all!!!

As an opposing fan, that's the most frustrating thing about playing the Steelers.... The D is doing well, holding up, making stops and then Ben hits you with some ridiculous play when he should have been sacked. But they still have a good offensive line and Rudolph should get better with reps.

Extending the play has been both blessing and curse for Ben. We don't remember all the extra hits he took hanging on to the ball, but there were enough memorable plays to say it was worth I guess....hopefully he gets to finish out his contract and walk away on his terms.
Rudolph got the 1st game starter jitters off his back, and I'd like to think the OC will take the training wheels off this week at home.

Going to be strange offseason when Ben returns... His injury has opened the door for a myriad of young auditioners that have looked capable. Ultimately its still the HOFers world here in Pittsburgh, and that's not up for debate (yet).

IDT he's ever really been a play caller at this level. He was an OC at ARK St. and Univ of Memphis...we all know he got this gig because Ben wanted him to have it.
Now...he's actually having to game plan for a QB that he doesn't REALLY know what they do best under pressure.
