Very possible. Just that Caleb "if"
Yeah. No question about the oline or running game. QB is the if.

I was waiting for someone to finish that off!motherfucker
alot of similarities with Roquan. Great defender, terrible at alot of other things. Stevenson might not be going anywhere this season, but no way he gets his 20 million from us. Right thing would be to get something for him before he leaves for nothing.I think the Stevenson stuff is overblown. If he doesn't have the Hali Mary fuckup, nobody would be saying anything. I think the kid is still a great player. I don't think he's going anywhere.

It was rumored that Hank Fraley was his choice for OC, that would be a big step on correcting the oline.
He’s still young. If we get Dennis Allen, Stevenson could take another jump into being a very good corner. I think part of his problem was coaching.Tyrique is absolutely not a "great" defender. At best he's average for the NFL.
Fraley might also have an offer to go to Seattle to be OC. Which if he is looking to call plays and looking for a track to be a HC he would go that route instead.

That stinks if it happens.
Dennis Allen is more important than Fraley because Johnson will be calling the plays. But it was kinda nice thinking we were bringing in an OC that made his mark with o-line work.
Is he officially hired? Y'all better hurry up before Aaron Glenn leaves Detroit....
I sincerely believe that Ben Johnson is going to be the next big time offensive head coach. People say offensive masterminds don’t always work out, and while I would agree with that statement, I don’t think there’s been an offensive coordinator with this kind of resume that failed. Ben Johnson wasn’t under someone like Andy Reid and he doesn’t have a player like Peyton manning. He worked for a defensive head coach and took Goff, a throw in from the Stafford trade, and turned him into an mvp candidate. Not just the fans, but do you think the entire Bears organization is jazzed that Johnson is our new HC?

This is exactly where we wanted to be.
Ditto, bro.
Good point. What should be interesting in the coming offseason is will Johnson have an inpact in the Bears acquiring any free agents or perhaps even more so, what influence he'll have in the draft.I sincerely believe that Ben Johnson is going to be the next big time offensive head coach.
