This is one of my favs.

If I am drinking a pilsner I like the Leinenkugels. Summer Shandy.
You're welcome

Also, if you ever get a chance you should go to the Founders taproom. It's a thing of beauty:

I'm afraid of the multinational piss-beer companies buying up craft breweries just to fuck them up. Budweiser bought Goose Island and fucked that up. Lagunitas is now owned by Heineken. I don't know how that will turn out yet.

This is serious shit here fellas.. Drank Budweiser most of my life. I know for a fact it's watered down compared to the old school German beer it was made to be years ago. InBev has watered it down I know for a fact.

Anyone know of a good brew that's comparable to old school Budweiser? I know the grain is rice.. Water, Barley Malt, Rice, Yeast, Hops.

Fuck InBev. Bastards don't even make old school Michelob anywhere and stick to Michelob ultra for the gays

The big 3 domestics are good for volume drinking but nothing else.

If you're drinking for taste, do some research on local craft breweries. Sounds like you'll be a lager or blonde kind of guy.

Eh, most of them just buy the label and leave the brewing to the people who started it.

Hey, i don't care what any beer snob says, Miller High Life hits the spot. Best beer that Miller makes.

Lived the High Life for a while before I graduated. After the first 3-4 it's not that bad.

I drank a Coors about 2 years ago and thought it was about as nasty as they come.

If I try to drink a Coors Light in the winter, I hate it and have no idea how I drink it. But then the 90 degree summer rolls around and I don't mind it. Mind you, I don't love it, but it's not bad for a camping trip, or barbecuing, and because it's got significantly less alcohol than bourbon or even other beers I drink, it slows me down.

Both Dogfish 90 minute and Dogfish 120 minute come in 4-packs, too. They are high-alcohol brews. I'm not sure if there are laws that control that, but if you can still buy a case of 24, what difference does it make if the beer in the case is 4 six-packs or 6 4-packs? My guess is that the beer is so expensive that people are scared away when the price of a 6-pack is like $25.

Some of these "Imperial Ales" around here only come in 12-ounce glasses at a bar, not 16s or 20s like the rest of the tap beers. It's probably a good idea. I don't drink to get smashed.

Dogfish Brewery is in Delaware. Their Dogfish 60 is a good place to start. If you like it, move up to the 90 or 120. They've got a lot of seasonals, too.

I don't go for fruity beers at all.
Dogfish 120, a four pack goes for $36. Expensive

What does sex in a canoe and Coors Light have in common?

They're both fucking close to water.

This is the real shit. It's Czech not German. Adolph Busch stole the recipe. And you can find it in the US.
Czechs know beer. A German associate of mine tells me they make better beer than Germans.

I drank literally gallons of Pilsner Urquel on a trip to Prague a few years ago. Out of the tap it was as close to a perfect beer as I've ever found. Unfortunately the bottled version you find in the states just isn't the same.

Yup. Basically what I said above. Beers like Coors are perfect if you're drinking them from a cooler and doing something outside. That's about all they're good for.

Bottled beer sucks compared to tap beer, it really does.
