I don't know what they could have done differently- The Jags had 8 guys in coverage, had to check it down/or try a screen or draw- like they did... that first play penalty killed it.

Never seen anyone seriously injured because of hands to the face in the trenches. Unless it is blatant grabbing of the face mask I just don't understand the emphasis. If a hand brushes the helmet it is being called. It's not as though Deacon is still there clubbing guys with his cast.

Ok, I'm wrong... Tell me what play you call when you're 1st and 20 on your own 15, with 1:30 left? When the Defense bails out and plays back, and only rushes 3 guys?
Should he have forced a ball into the middle? Taken a shot deep, into double coverage? Please help me understand.

I understand the calls on the D backs though. New aged fans love passing yards and points. League will do what ever is necessary to make sure they capitalize.

deeper routes to open up the middle of the field. had 2 receivers sitting in the flat on every play

seems like palmer gives away if it is a pass or run before every snap. he looks at the backfield right before he snaps the ball when it is a run
