I'd do it in a heartbeat if there was a huge paycheck in it for me. Adrian Beltre is a classic example. Turned his roided up year in 2004 into a 5-year, $64 million contract. Beltre may pay for it, health wise, later in life. But, he'll also be able to afford the best doctors money can buy, so I doubt if he suffers too much.

to me the game was better.....the nfl is in love with these highlight reel plays..what the miss is that a lot of what brought people to the game was the violence and passion of it...which is now very much gone....guys are way bigger than they need to be....and it starts from the youth level on up...bigger is better.

Football as we know it may not exist 20 years from now...

The rules are going to be completely different, the game itself is already different, and slowly but surely, the way we look at it will be far different as well.

More and more parents aren't going to let their kids play and honestly, why would they? There are far more dollars to be made in baseball, basketball, and even golf.

The next generation won't grow up wanting to be football players.
