I can this, however... before 2010 I had no idea there was a hockey team in Boston, but I could recite the entire Patriots roster from memory without ever having watched a game myself thanks to this place.

like any original 6 city, boston has its core of diehards

hockey is a 3rd-4th tier sport for the most part nationallty, but locally...no fucking way

hockey playoffs trump everything

before the cup run gen, the bruins were a 30+ year disappointment every playoff...first round exits, presidents trophy teams ousted...
