Floyd popped up on the injury report, with a back thing. I'm getting sick of this shit. Really trying to avoid the "here we go again" mentality, but we're close to the point where it's undeniable. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
The injury list for the Chicago Bears just keeps growing, and growing. After being fine earlier this week, outside linebacker Leonard Floyd popped up on the injury report today with a sore back.
Floyd is joined by seven other questionable Bears, and they are; running back Jordan Howard(shoulder), wide receivers Markus Wheaton (finger) and Josh Bellamy (ankle), guard Kyle Long (ankle), cornerback Prince Amukamara (ankle), linebacker Christian Jones (back), and safety Deon Bush (hamstring).
All eight of these players practiced on a limited basis today, but running back Benny Cunningham missed all week with a high ankle sprain and was listed as doubtful.
Howard tweaked his shoulder against the Falcons last Sunday, and head coach John Fox said it wasn’t that big a deal.
Wheaton has been nursing a broken pinky for a few weeks now, but if he’s able to go, it’ll be a big boost for the offense.
As soon as the Bucs announce their official report we’ll pass it along, but this week they’ve had three players on the report. Linebackers Kwon Alexander (illness) and Devante Bond (knee), and center Evan Smith (illness).
