Don't recall ever seeing a post season game in any sport with a bigger momentum swing than this.

Boston was in full control of the series and even dropping a game wouldn't change that.

Now they had to burn their 4th game starter basically for nothing. They lose a game AND their edge for the next game.

Well we can only hope for the best. Granted the momentum may have changed? But you're supposed to win at home. Sure Boston would love to be 3-0 but they aren't. Just need to try and steal one tonight? Hopefully those three can do better than an 0-18 effort?

It was just a heart breaker to burn a starting pitcher that gave you an awesome chance at a road win in a game that wore out the whole team AND lost that pitcher in a loss. That's really rough.

Agree. They forgot about it already and put it behind them. Nothing gained by worrying now. They know that the only game that counts now is the one in front of them. Go Rsox

If I had my choice I'd rather have Eovaldi out there tonight. Cora had said prior to the game that he would use Eovaldi in relief if need be. I'm sure he didn't think he'd throw a full game in relief. But it is what it is. If Eovaldi got the win Cora would've been a genius. I said about the 16th/17th inning Boston needed to score then as there really wasn't any bullpen help left. Unfortunately they didn't.
