Yeah. We were really deep until the bad news on Profar.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's not damaged goods at this point. Know he's young, but regardless of age, he's been hurt more than he's played.

How does a shoulder injury from 2010 not heal? What the hell is wrong with our medical staff....The past two years have made me have no faith in their abilities to diagnose and treat ailments.

I'm crossing my fingers that Mitch is gone to another team next year.

I don't get the love of what Mikolas has done either. Between him and the two Nicks give me both of the Nicks way before Mikolas. That's just me though.

I do agree with Justin in that Mikolas may have the higher upside due to his stuff.

But I swear, I think Martinez is going to be one of those steady, never great - but steady, # 4 types for 10 years. He may not start the ten year count going into next season. But I see him competing hard in 2016 for a spot.

I love his attitude, willingness to learn.

Damn good question.

If he's still hurt with the same problem today, then he should be under the knife tomorrow and get this thing fixed.

Are they telling us he's had the same bad shoulder aliment for 4 years and yet hasn't had surgery? Makes no sense to me.

They are saying he has some soft shoulder tissue that is not allowing it to heal properly. Then get in there and fix it. I know surgery should be your last option, because it's invasive and requires a lot of healing, but damn it's been nearly 4 years now. He needs it done.

Exactly....in the baseball business time is money, and we've been burning it with this guy for years it seems.

What's the frigging hold up?

He'll probably miss all of next season. Sounds like that was a very real possibility anyway.

Again, get it fixed and whatever the recuperation time is, then deal with it.

I have always hated when athletes put off surgeries until the right before the season. Especially when they know they needed it months prior.

Who will not be on the Rangers next year?...

Arencibia, Adduci, Choice (AAA), Cotts, Ross, Moreland, Profar (AAA if healthy)...

Smolinski? That would be a shame as the kid's done well. But I'm thinking we keep Robertson and Rua (LF, and backup 1b). Smolinski would go to AAA and be an early call-up when needed.

Pitching - this one is tough, as in my opinion there are only three "sure things" - Yu, Derek and Feliz. Mendez and Klein look to be keepers in the pen for now. I think Cotts and Ogando are gone - Bonilla, Baker, Mikolas, Martinez, Tepesch, Lewis and the others will have to compete for spots against hopefully new faces. ...and there better be several qualified new faces!!

I know I would release JPA. Adduci, Choice, and Smolinski to AAA. I bet Mazara will be ready to come up to AAA if we need to call one of them up to the majors. I would include Moreland in a trade. I'm not even going to attempt the pitchers right now just because there will be additions to the staff.

I agree either Trade Moreland or make him a backup on the bench. I still can't figure out why Wash started Moreland so much before he had yet another injury. Give the ABs to someone with longevity and a future.

Sometimes I wonder if you are just trolling for a response or what. Stop talking about Mitch Moreland.

I think Mitch fucked his girl.

I honestly forgot he played 52 games. That's how little I think about Mitch Moreland. This season has drug on so long. I didn't realize he played a third of the season.

I think the 25 man roster will be easier to decide than the 40 man roster.

The guy has been a starter for several years and done jack shit nothing. I'm surprised more people don't hate him.
