Sniff my penis.
NBA basketball is the least watchable sport on the planet, I would rather watch Pakistan vs Madagascar in a lawn bowling match than watch a single minute of an NBA game, less kids watching baseball doesn't mean it's dying, with video games being so popular I would imagine kids are watching less of every sport, basketball remains relevant because you can have an IQ of 12 and still play it and all it takes is one ball and anything you can throw shit into, pretty much the same reason soccer remains so popular.
This is just your opinion. Baseball is my favorite sport but the fact is basketball has almost double the fans as baseball does in the world. Close to 350 million more, it's sad but true.

Who gives a fuck? The shitshow that is soccer is the #1 sport in the world, but America doesn't consider what the 3rd world World likes when making decisions.
I played for about 7 years , not a lot though no.Did you ever play much baseball? Not an asshole question, serious. I ask because I felt the same way about golf. When I could go to the Nelson it was cool because of the atmosphere but couldn't watch it on TV. Then I tried to play it. Now I can watch it on TV because I can appreciate it more. I think baseball is the same way. If you play, or even coach little kids, you get more of a feeling for how good the teams are. When all I did was watch golf it was "so what, everyone makes those shots".
Which is why youth sports are so important. Get kids playing and appreciating the ins and outs of the game and you can hook them watching on TV.
That to me is the beauty of baseball. No single game is so important that you must drop everything to see a game. Sometimes, it is just cool to catch an inning or two, or go over to the high school and watch an entire game.

Basketball isn't a real sport! Most of them are people who really like the nba.
True.
Up until he passed, my dad (born in '25) always listened to baseball games, never got into watching on TV. Maybe that's why I can listen to a game easier than I can watch a full game.
Truth.I would say the swarm of maniacs paying a fortune to park around and get into Fenway and then freeze in tiny seats while their team played like shit on Tuesday would argue there is plenty of demand for baseball in Boston, at least
I enjoy college basketball.Basketball isn't a real sport!
Mlb has more fans than the nba. It's not that close. Mlb is dominated by local markets. The nba has a few teams people like to watch so national games get better ratings than mlb but the mlb teams get huge local market tv contracts. That's why they more money than the nba.
Every single hockey goal ever is like 90% luck.Basketball isn't a real sport!
