Apparently, there's a petition floating around requesting that Cam Newton be banned from Century Link Stadium. I've taken my swipes at Seahawks fans here and there, but...

Are you serious? Anybody in their right mind wouldn't sign that petition. I bet they will have a hard time getting a hundred people to sign it. Most of these people are not "true" football fans, they know very little about any sport!!!

As of Tuesday evening they have 1000 signators per the report I googled. Tuesday morning local sports radio were saying 750 twelves had signed.

I think Cam is a good guy. And I get that he does what he does because that is how he finds it fun to play the game.

But it does come across as cocky and pisses some fans off a lot and probably more than a few players.

I agree... Every fan base has morons... Seattle area, including I-5 in Wash has a population of 3.5 million in the area and people are focusing on these idiots (approx. 1000 have signed petition)... You do the math...

Also, there has been a petition by the non morons to have the guy who started the initial petition to be band from Century Links... EVERY fanbase has idiots...

Not every team has idiots like these Seattle "Cam Banners" taking their fandom way too far. Steeler Nation knows better and it has a well known reputation for making mature, healthy, rational and well thought out decisions...day in, day out. We just know not to take things too far when it comes to supporting our favorite football team and know better than to make such stupid decisions.
