So few things here...First being the stadium is going to be rocking for this game as fans are ticked off so my guess is they will make life hell for Flacco.

Second seriously tgann if you can't even notice that your team has at least some weaknesses such as your WR position. They looked down right laughable in the preseason. The fact that Jones is your number 2 should have you very worried. All teams have to do with him is make sure to stay back as any time he feels anybody running at him he runs for the sidelines scared like a little girl. Throw in the Broncos went and got a Corner that is faster than Jones or Smith in DRC so I wouldn't hope that your team gets 2 touchdowns of 50 yards this time around.

The lack of weapons in the receiving area also then means the Broncos can load the box and send more blitzes to help make up for the loss of Von Miller. Throw in the Broncos went and added some major talent up the middle because of their problem last year of collapsing the pocket. Joe Flacco is not going to have that 5 yards to step into this year.

Now onto your defense. When the Broncos played the Ravens last year they were the walking wounded on the OL. 4 of the 5 starters needed surgery because of injuries sustained in the early parts of that game or the game before against the Chiefs. Clady was essentially playing with one arm while Kuper actually had the medal plate in his leg completely shatter so he was playing on one leg. The OL is actually healthy this time around so Manning should have all day and even if he doesn't he has Wes Welker for the short throws and now a guy named Julius Thomas who you will know very soon.

Also how big is Bryant McKinnie now? I'm worried for that guy. He is going to take 2 steps off the plane in this thin air and collapse. My bold prediction is he doesn't make it to half time before he asks for the back up to come in.

Obviously Tgann most of us here don't mind talking a little football and even a little smack but at least do it respectfully and understand that this should at least be a good game. I wouldn't mind you coming to this board on a regular basis if you didn't say things like the Broncos are going to lose by 20 points at home to the Ravens. That is just down right stupid and disrespectful.

@Cdumler...

When I said the Ravens win by 20 I think I also said I was being sarcastic later in the thread which I was....I respect Denver..their you have it are you happy? I just don't think they are as good as their record suggested last year or as good as Denver fans think they are this year; we shall see.

So far as last year and the walking wounded are you kidding me? The ravens were wounded all year and at one point were missing 6 starters including ray Lewis Ed Reed Suggs Ngata Webb McClain Jimmy Smith....Thats the only reason our backups in Kruger and Ellerbe even saw the field and why it doesn't matter that they are gone...they were backups...This time you play the starters.

Did you really say you are worried about Bryant McKinnie? He shut you down last year and rarely if ever gets beat.. He will dominate who ever is across from him it doesn't matter who u put in front of him.. Who I really really feel sorry for is your third string CENTER that will be lined up across from the best NT in the NFL Haloti Ngata.. Ngata will dominate and Peyton will be pressured....

I will offer no excuses if we lose my team plays in a division the AFCN that regularly has close games and loses. Its your team that has to worry by playing in the AFCW you rarely have real competition. lol!

Well I think by the fact that the Ravens by many are not even picked to win their own division should show how weak many are viewing them. At least the Broncos across the board by almost every analyst are being picked to at least make the playoffs. I think the Ravens will be decent but you don't lose that many starters and just expect to pick up where you left off. Especially when you consider how many of those guys were the heart and soul of the offense and defense.

Almost all of those starters that were injured were back for the playoffs. For the Broncos 4 of the 5 starters on the OL needed surgery some of them major surgery as soon as the season got over so my guess is the protection for Manning should be a little better than what you saw in the playoff game. They also have a healthy core of running backs. When we have our 175 pound 3rd string running back trying to carry the load that on top of that is a rookie it kind of hindered our ability to stay balanced on offense.

I'm worried for McKinnie not because he lacks talent but because he lacks conditioning. Has he actually finished a practice yet this off season? Last I heard he was sucking wind early in practices and then you stick him here at Mile High I'm just worried the dude is going to pass out on the field.

How many times do we have to tell you he is not our 3rd string Center. He was the 2nd string and always has been. Koppen was the back up to Ramirez from the moment he stepped into camp and was brought in as insurance not to be a starter. Also my guess is Ramirez will not be asked all that often to block Ngata alone. Usually the NT is double teamed as a big part of their job is eating up blocks and the Broncos know if you stop Ngata in the middle you open things up for everybody else. Also this is where the hurry up offense will make life very difficult for those guys up front. The Broncos can do those quick outs or slants with Welker and Thomas as they march down the field negating any kind of pass rush the Ravens throw at them. Then when they start trying to cover the over the middle Peyton just hits one deep to Thomas or Decker. I'm sorry but the Broncos have a few more weapons this time around than the last time this Ravens defense saw the Broncos. There are now 3 new starters in Welker, Thomas, and whatever running back the Broncos decide to throw at the Ravens (p.s. all 3 are very good at catching the football out of the backfield. Nothing slows a pass rush down quite like a nice screen play).

Now it should be a good game and Thursday seriously cannot get here fast enough! Just so ready for all this stupid smack talk to be done and let our teams decide it on the field.

U say the Ravens aren't even favored to win our division...I agree it's bc the AFCN is that competitive which was my earlier point. Secondly everyone wants Cincy to win which ain't happening remember it's Cincy... Haven't won a playoff game since 81?

Ravens take the North again 3 years in a row...Book it...

3 AFCCG's in 5 years and 1 Super Bowl that's pretty good. Not to mention 9 playoff victories in 5 years closest to the Ravens is 5. It has been goo to be a Ravens fan.

It is goin to be a great game both teams are clearly ready to roll. As I said before I think it will come down to pass rush. A lack of it on Denver's part and the Ravens speed upfront and having the ability to cover with more speed at LB this year. It's a great matchup can't wait.

Stopping Ray Rice running and in the passing game should be the Broncos number one concern.

^ I Thot the Broncos did a good job against Ray Rice last year it was the mid and long passing games that try needed secured. But I do believe the Ravens Oline will give big running lanes for Rice and Pierce.

Pass rush will definitely play into it but remember it is not like Dumervil and Miller were the only good pass rushers the Broncos had last year. Wolfe had 6 as a rookie and everything from camp is saying he is stronger and faster than last year. Woodyard had 5 and that was just on specialty blitzes here and there throughout the season. My guess is in the absence of Von Doom the Broncos will use the blitz a little more often and with the fact that the Ravens are lacking many of the passing weapons they had last year and have added to the secondary in Ihenacho, DRC, and Jammer they will feel better about sending more blitzes. They also then added to the Defensive Tackle position because on those two long passes for Flacco the middle of the pocket was wide open. If preseason has been any indication that problem is no longer a problem as they were getting a great push up the middle with the new found talent in Williams and Knighton.

On the other side of the ball like I said the Broncos OL is actually healthy this time around plus they have added some talent in Vasquez who in his career has only given up a handful of sacks. Clady pretty much said he played last year with one arm, Franklin had a broken toe that was causing problems being able to move and Koppen just got pushed around. This year Ramirez adds a little more size and strength to the Center position and at least the last couple of preseason games really started looking very comfortable in his spot and Manning barely got touched those last couple of preseason games (that he played in).

Throw in Manning is known for his getting the ball out quickly where for Flacco to be at his best he has to wait that extra second for his guys to get deep and have a clean pocket to step into. The Broncos have worked to correct those mistakes by adding speed and size to the secondary (so don't plan on Smith or Jones getting behind the secondary) and then adding some major size up the middle.

I am not really worried about the Denver running game --- at all in fact. In games where the Ravens run the ball and gain more yards then their opposition we win most times. Additionally, I am not buying that Miller and Doom will not be missed and in a huge way. The Ravens O-Line is healthy, big, and one of the best in the league and we have 5/6 back from the SB team. If Flacco gets time and I think he does we win this game in a close one IMO.

However, this game reminds me all too much of the NE game last year when the Patriots beat us at Foxboro after we lost the AFCCG game in 2011/12. So revenge is a huge factor and none of us can evaluate it but I know it will play huge.

I'm not saying the loss of them will not hurt. I do think Phillips replaces Dumervil almost perfectly as they were darn close in numbers last year and Phillips didn't have Miller on the opposite side of him to take blockers away from him. I just meant to say the Broncos will have no pass rush just because Dumervil and Miller are gone is just completely missing the big picture of it all. Yes Von is a huge loss I am not arguing that at all. Dumervil like I said I think his production can be replaced by Phillips and others not easily but very much possible. Von is not replaceable. I just think an improved secondary though should help out to at least dampin the blow of losing Von and the added talent at the DT position should limit Flacco's ability to step up into the pocket and should help in limiting the run game for the Ravens. I mean you have to remember the Broncos were either 2nd or 3rd in the league against the run last year and they only got bigger on the front line for this season and faster at the linebacker position.

Anyway should be a fun game...Been waiting since the playoff loss for this game and we are finally down to a couple of days!

Hey tgann, we get it, the Ravens are the greatest team in the history of ever and nothing the Broncos can possibly do will matter because the Ravens are so amazing. In fact, the only way the Broncos even keep the Ravens within 30 is if the great and might Ravens decide to take pity on the meek and pathetic Broncos and go into victory formation every play beginning in the second quarter.

Isn't it amazing that the Broncos are completely screwed because they don't have Von Miller or Elvis Dumervil, but the Ravens will be fantastically amazing without last season's number 1 and number 3 receivers, top 4 tacklers, their number 1 pass rusher, their top 2 players in interceptions, and their emotional leader for over a decade? Honestly, I can't figure out for the life of me why the NFL is even bothering with this game. Easiest money in the world is taking the Ravens plus the points.

Ravens win 50 kabillion to 3. If we're lucky enough to keep it that close, of course.
