With O' Day fully rested I would definately look to use him if he's available in the 9th. Not trying to pile on Britton but DOD seems like he might be better against these scrappy A's.

Well, if you look at the splits, one could make the case for a "platoon" arrangement at the closer position-- namely, Britton vs. L and O'Day vs. R.


*Side note: It's a small sample, but it looks like we're already seeing regression to the mean for Samardzija and Hammel...
