Yeah, I'm sitting at work periodically checking the box score on Disney, was a nice little surprise to see us go from 0-0 to 5-0. Teagarden is picking up from where he left off last year, he didn't get many hits, but those that he did get were fucking clutch/big.

Yup last year he only got 9 hits, but 3 were doubles, 2 were dingers and 9 ribbies. 3 ribbies on 2 hits this year. Def makes the hits count.

I said before the game yesterday that I didn't see us winning this series. We just have too many pitching issues going on right now plus the fact that we're facing their best pitchers (who would have thought Verlander would be Detroit's 2-3rd best pitcher at this point in the season?). I like Jake and wish him the best, but that just may not be with the O's.

I don't see Freddy hanging around much longer. Wei-Yin Chen appears to be less than 2 weeks from returning to the rotation. Tsuyoshi Wada, who we spent big money before last season, is finally off of the DL and has made a few solid starts in AAA. He has been shaky, but that is expected since he didn't pitch for over a year. We also have Joel Pinero, Jon Rauch, Jair Jurrjens and several others that could be brought up for a spot start if needed.
