I noticed Jake hasn't posted anything on twitter since May 23rd. Seemed like a gregarious guy. Hope his confidence isn't shot. Going on up against Scherzer was a tall order anyway... even Hammel, Chen or Gonzo would have been hard-pressed for a win against that guy in their team's ballpark.

I said before the game yesterday that I didn't see us winning this series. We just have too many pitching issues going on right now plus the fact that we're facing their best pitchers (who would have thought Verlander would be Detroit's 2-3rd best pitcher at this point in the season?). I like Jake and wish him the best, but that just may not be with the O's.
