For as dominant as Alabama is the QB play isn’t very good. So either would be an improvement. I’ve always wondered why Saban can stack nfl talent 3 deep at every other position.

Well, Jalen Hurts was a true freshman and scored a TD to give Alabama the lead in the National Championship game last year. This year he's a true sophmore.

And our backup is fucking crazy good. He's a true freshman this year and already burned his redshirt. His release is super fast and he's extremely accurate. He's not the runner Hurts is, but he's still very mobile.
