"Maybe Fed needs to realize he'll never find an answer."
"Not a surprise...the merciful end is near."

Seriously, the ATP needs a new announcer on these livestreams. What motivation do I have to stay up now if its already over? I'll keep going until its a double break or finished, but no thanks to this punk.

Fed breaks right back. Was that inevitable too, Mr. Douche?

Do you put more credence in commentators in this sport rather than others? It's all about watching. I mean no offense.

FED breaks Nadal.

Then is down 15-40 on his service game, but still wins.

FED up 3-2 in the 3rd.

At 4:45 AM in the morning with Fed losing, i'm a little pissy. But yes, it's beyond disrespectful. You won't find another sport where the announcers spend half the match bitching about how hopeless the greatest player in their sport's history is.

That's understandable. There has definitely been a lot of that.

FED gets broken on an unlucky net cord point.

Down 4-3 in the 3rd.

Are the commentators on the stream the same on the ESPN TV broadcast?

I was wondering the same. He did mention he was on a Livestream but even the ESPN announcers have subtly given Nadal the victory it seems.

Nadal wins the 3rd set 6-3. He needs 2 match points to break FED again in the 3rd, for the 3rd time in the set.

It's over. 7-6, 6-3, 6-3. Apparently, it's as comprehensive as Nadal has ever been over Federer (wasn't there a 1, 0, and 2ish match at 2008 FO).

Fed ran out of gas there at the end. He also missed a challenge that would have won the last game. Fed needs to figure out how to stop that Nadal second serve. When he finally figured out he needed to attack in the third, he got a break and had a few other chances. If he just did that from the start and held serve like he did, he would have won the 1st and at least gotten to a 2nd set breaker, if not taken a 2-0 lead.

No. It's the Australian broadcast team. Geoff Masters (who isn't awful) and Peter Donaghan (sp?).

They signed off with "It's now officially that Roger will end his career with 17 slams. We'd just like to say, "Thanks for the memories.""

Wow, it's no wonder how upset you got about it. That's really poor broadcasting in any sense of the imagination.

Agree.

I think the ESPN broadcasters are decent, I don't mind them.
