She was upset in 3 of 4 slams last year, HS.

And you look like an idiot when you say that the WTA "needs" upsets.

WTA should actually add a "U" in there somewhere because of how ubiquitous upsets are.

Venus's on-court interviews have been so nice.

She's usually pretty icy, but she's been really warm and friendly, and looks like she's really enjoying the experience.

its so easy for womens game the top players can always fall back on the inexperience and nerves of the up n comers and younguns and count on them to fold. for the men its quite different. any top 100 mens player can do damage.

This takes the sting off the Fed loss for me a little.

Would love to see somebody break Martina and Chrissy's record in my lifetime. Pretty special to witness for any real tennis fan, really.

Does Janowicz plan on converting any of these break points to get back on serve?

lopez has a big serve, and janowicz's movement is his biggest weakness

it'll be hard for him to break, but the kid is a real shot maker, so i think it will happen eventually.

That game has got to hurt Janowicz. Could not convert any of his breaks and now he's down 2 sets

Janowicz is tremendously overrated.

If you mean by the people saying he's a lock to win a major, sure.

I'd say the same about people who rave about Raonic.

For a giant guy, Janowicz plays really well. He maximizes his gifts, and puts work into improving his weaknesses. As a tennis fan, I can't ask for much more. And I think he will make some major semis at the very least. Hope so, anyway.

Find a new horse. Fed's might squeak out another major, but it's unlikely.

The game just keeps moving along.

Which of the younger tennis players do you like? I like Dimitrov most because he has the potential to be such a complete player. He has all of the shots off the ground, and he's working like an animal on his movement and getting his serve better. You?

This isn't exactly the greatest set of matches so far.

3rd round matches are usually hit or miss.

Steve Johnson & Kei should be starting in the next hour while Isner is scheduled to play in 2 hours.

Tomorrow is when the tournament gets good as R16 action begins.

Schedule is already out for tomorrow

Schedule of Play - Schedule - Australian Open Tennis Championships 2015 - Official Site by IBM

Nadal vs Anderson is the last match of the day session on Laver while Murray/Dimitrov is the final match of the night session (will wake up early for that one)
