Yankees should’ve traded for more pitching.
Wonder why they didn’t pursue any of our guys harder.

He once brought back a very nice return when we traded him in a deadline deal. That Michael Young kid did alright for himself.Truly sad situation here......
SAN DIEGO -- Former All-Star pitcher Esteban Loaiza, who earned more than $43 million over 14 seasons, pleaded guilty Friday to federal drug charges in California.
Loiza acknowledged that he possessed about 20 kilograms, or 44 pounds, of cocaine with intent to distribute. He faces up a minimum of 10 years in a prison and maximum of life when he is sentenced Nov. 2.
Loaiza, 46, was under surveillance when he was arrested in February near a house in Imperial Beach, which borders Tijuana, Mexico. His SUV had just left the garage when authorities confronted him.
3 Hrs in front of his Dad who sees him in MLB for the first time. Wow. Pretty special
How ironic. My dad was stationed at the Pentagon so as a kid the Senators were my favorite team and they were terrible but as a kid I didn't care. And I saw them play the Yankees in Washington. This was the box score of the game and the only thing I really remember as a 7 year old was Maris and Mantle hitting a HR.In 1961, was in NY on the way overseas. Got to see the Yankees beat the Senators. Little did I know, the Senators would someday be my favorite MLB team ever. GO RANGERS
That is pretty cool. You know Guzman and his family were out of their minds with that performance.3 Hrs in front of his Dad who sees him in MLB for the first time. Wow. Pretty special
Guzman, who was playing Friday in front of a group of eight family members who traveled from the Dominican Republic, has now played four career games against the Yankees and has homered in every one of them. His third homer of the game - an opposite field rainbow in the seventh inning - gave him six homers against the Yankees this season.
It is the most ever by a Ranger. Juan Gonzalez (in 1996) and Dave Hostetler (in 1982) each had five. They played 10 and nine games respectively against the Yankees in those seasons.
Haha! Loved it.In 1955 I hit four there. The last one went thru my neighbor's window and I picked cotton to pay for it. Was DFA'd shortly there after.
True. Imagination, window and cotton. All of it.Haha! Loved it.
Noon start times today and tomorrow, gents.
