There is no rule that says we can't have a team with 2 losses. If NC St wins out, they might have a chance. It's likely the Big 12 is going to chop each other apart and no one from the conference gets in.

If Iowa St were to get in, that would be the biggest surprise in college football this century.

North Carolina-Virginia has us beat by a couple of years. for the entire south's oldest rivalry.

I knew about UNC/UVA's rivalry. That rivalry and the league wanting FSU and Miami in different
divisions is what kept the league from being North and South instead of this Atlantic/Coastal crap.
They would have been in different divisions and WF, which would have also gone to the North
would have been UNC's permanent rival instead of UVA.

Why in the hell we're in the same division as BC and Syracuse and the closest school to us...
Ga Tech is not is beyond me.
