If you're looking at the Great Lakes total coastline and what Michigan's share of it is, the amount of coastline in New York is immaterial.

Actually what was being discussed before you detoured it was how the majority of great lakes tourism comes from Michigan... which no matter how you want to try to screw it.. you can't. Its a fact... Canada has probably about 4000 miles of coastline that nobody even walks on.
