I'm not saying he's going to be great. I just think that sitting him, and playing clowns like Nix, provides absolutely no value to this team for the future.

Giving him only 13 at-bats against lefties is not helping either.

Play him every day. If he sucks, you know for sure that you need to find a third baseman. Continue jerking with his playing time and you still go into next season with a question mark.
