Question for @The Q and anyone else that wants to chime in...

Haven't watched the Flash in a while, but I was pretty sure I had watched Season 3 so I started season 4 yesterday. And it looks like I missed a crap ton. I don't remember Cisco ever being a full-blown superhero yet, and Iris' brother is now the Yellow flash. And I apparently missed some huge speed force storm that almost wiped out the city.

Pretty sure I missed the entire season 3. But my main question, is it worth going back & watching it before diving into season 4 completely?

All of that was covered end of season 2 into season 3.

Yea just from the "last season on the Flash" recap at the beginning of S4 it didn't look like I missed out on a ton. Was just curious if I missed out on anything important with Cisco or Wally's power transitions.

Leaning towards skipping S3. Maybe if I enjoy S4 enough I'll go back & watch.

Yeah i mean there's a whole piece early on that explains all of that, stuff. First like 5 or 6 episodes i believe.

Dc has given Fox and CW/WB the keys to the kingdom.

Smallville (Superman)
Green arrow (arrow)
Flash (the flash)

Maybe you are right that he is in contention for top 10, but I would argue that the top 6 are the only A-Listers.

Arrow has a long enough history that he could be on that tier. But I'll say it's not a slam dunk either.

Either way, putting that list together (granted, with no studying) just highlights the fact that DC has a rather shallow list of big names, and the ones they do have are ANCIENT (save for Cyborg who was introduced, I think, in the 80s)

Marvel has a much deeper hero roster, and some of their biggest names are quite “young” (Deadpool and Cable, to name 2).

yeah, which is exactly why they probably should protect their A-listers, who marvel can't touch...and let WB/CW and Fox and Hulu build your 2nd tier brand for you.

DC needs to just focus on the rogues more. Even in those stories.

DC is fine with Man of Steel and Cavil.

Everything else needs to reboot.

And for the love of god do NOT make Flashpoint movie right now.

So I have been letting this one pile up the last couple months. I a must watching a few eps tonight, starting with the ep where the fam learns about the daughter, and she learned about the dad.

I thought the whole fam already knew he was BL...

They have gotten in the habit of saying “Metahumans” a LOT on this show. That could be a clue that they are on E1.

The soundtrack is still SUPER annoying and SUPER distracting.

Oliver divorced the wrong chick.

But man, this season could've had so much potential. I'm digging the Dragon story.

But everything else they've done is just a freaking train wreck.

I don't miss SG or LOTR, and Flash is basically on the chopping block and probably toast without a strong finish, but Arrow is even creeping towards the edge for me as well.
