i didn't think it was that bad... THEY TRIED...
They kinda tried to acknowledge that the pro-second amendment argument has a point at the end with a throw away comment, but basically the writers showed that have no understanding for the argument by basically ignoring it.

That's why I hate preachiness, from either side. It just becomes propaganda.

That isn't in the Arrowverse, is it?

But no, I am not watching. I actually have almost zero knowledge of the Archie comics.

No. It's not. Since a lot of people here watch the CW....I thought I would ask it here.

Sure, but at least it didn't feel like a LEFT or a RIGHT argument... I felt their main point was how we can't debate about it anymore...

Notice they left out any real actual meat to what they came up with for that legislation....

It was a decent episode.

Wild Dog, poor wild dog.

Also LOVE how Supergirl went with a smallville reference (Clark and Lex being friends for a long long time).

Glad they left out the park about making a deal with the devil to get him resurrected.

Yup. Of course, if they did mention anything, it would have pissed off one side or the other even more.

i mean smallville is what most casual fans will remember, and i doubt that the show has too many comic geeks... But there have been plenty of superman comics that had this too...

as to this coming episode, i like how they are bringing in LONG NAME(impossible man from marvel's DC counterpart)... Kind of annoyed though that they are targeting the teen girl with him but i guess you have to know what you are watching...

I was going to start a thread on The Flash but saw most of the talk was in this thread so I will put this here.

I started out watching first season of The Flash almost 2 years ago. Things in life had me give up on it and I was going to start back up. But then I though about all the other shows I really want to watch so I decided to jump back in starting now.

The character development has gone way down hill. I try to overlook a bit of campyness especially in comic book shows/movies but it was way over the top. I am not saying that will be my last episode but I am certainly not going out of my way to watch it. Every character turned "silly". Not sure why they had to do that. It is really weird watching the Detective play that part.

I still haven't watched Arrow so I will give it a shot after my Marco Polo binge.

Well back in the silver age they were friends for a bit.

But I dont think it was part of the "everyone knows Lex is going to eventually become Evil" bit. I think that's more Smallville or Superman: Birthright (a pretty darn good comic story).

Yup. Of course, if they did mention anything, it would have pissed off one side or the other even more.

Partially because it's something where there is no common ground. There's no King Solomon-ing this bitch like abortion, or weed etc.

You either have a registry or you don't. Background checks become a defacto registry for who tries to buy guns because there's some kind of paper trail.

I think Curtis's point about discussion and the politican's point about how she couldn't go against it for PR reasons (because the new "normal" in america would be if you didn't agree with this bill you're pro mass shootings....because that's clearly the correct answer...absolutely no chance it could mean anything else...) are the bigger takeaways.

Piss off an army of gorillas and leave Earth 2 without a Flash. This will turn out great.

I'm assuming they will all crossover at some point.

LOT needs to give up.

Shoot the guy in the leg, keep that part of the spear.

Pretty freaking simple.

And now, you're telling me there was zero thought about who controls the ship?

Hopefully they turn this season around.....but man has it been really unimpressive so far.
