Meh, this always happens when we play popular teams. The seats are usually upper deck seats. As usual, most of the lower bowl will be cardinals fans. I don't blame upper deck owners for making 400%+ off of their tickets.

I saw a lot of Vikings fans in lower bowl during game on TV, was much more than just the "upper bowl".

When I lived/worked in Chandler/Tempe area I knew a lot of Vikings/Packers/Bears fans in the area. Phoenix was/is a metro area with a lot of transplants from other areas. There were also a large number of Cowboys fans.

It looks like Az will get a home playoff game this year.
Let's all take a moment of silence and pray that the Cardinals won't have to beg the NFL for an extension to sell out a home game playoff.

WTF are blabbering about? The Cardinals have a 101 game sellout streak going.

You really are clueless.

I was about to congratulate you on obliterating his response after looking at the link title. After opening and seeing it was from 2009 I'll put the win up on his side of the scoreboard...

It still happened. I was just letting Davis know what Davis was referring to.

It sounds like you don't know very much about your own team.

They had just come off a SB loss the year before to the Stealers.
Kurt Warner was their starting QB.
They hosted GB who travels well and buys lots of tickets to a regular season or especially a playoff game in the desert in January.
It was their most recent home playoff game and needed an extension.

Now that you have more info, you are allowed to reverse your decision if you wish.

Are you really talking about the 2009 season? In addition, a game that was still sold out?

You are a gargantuan tool.

That's about as relevant as this...

Blackout looms for Seahawks playoff game

What I was referring to was Arizona's most recent playoff game.
In `09, Az wrapped up the NFCW by week 15. There was at least 2 weeks minimum for them to sell out.
According to the link you posted The Seahawks were granted the extension because of the short turnaround from Sunday's game, when the Seahawks beat the Atlanta Falcons to clinch the NFC West championship
A little different scenario, but you get extra credit for digging that up.

2009 :L

You want to take a shot at us by posting BS like we will need a blackout extension for a playoff game this year. Then to try and back your point, you bring up a regular season game in 2009.

That is plain stupid on a couple of fonts.

1) you went back to a 2009 regular season game to try and make your point
2) there is no blackout rule this year

Nice try

I'll stick with 7 years ago is irrelevant in Football years. Unless you want Julius Jones back...

If I got tickets to a good game like that. I sure as hell would be going. That's just me though.

I'm sure there won't be an issue this year, but:

"The NFL has granted a second, final 24-hour extension of its television blackout deadline for the Arizona Cardinals' wild card playoff game against Atlanta on Saturday."

You seahawk fans are really reaching. It's kind of pathetic.

In the spirit of the OP, I don't see how my point is that far off base.
Now that your team is performing really well, your HC and one of your most prolific and highest respected players has called the fans out for a lack of attendance. What is most pathetic, needing multiple extensions to sell out a home playoff game, the coach/player bitching out the fans, or the fans that are taking the $ and running with it?
You tell me?

Fair enough. No more talk about past Super Bowl history regarding the Cowboys. Those were a long time ago.
